Ushichan Farm’s Japanese beef cattle are originally selected out of superior calves from livestock markets all over Japan. We purchase and start raising them between 6 to 9 months of age after carefully considering their pedigree. At that point, we already know where the end product will be sold.
Creating an integrated system based on our own breeding
In order to stabilize our production line, we opened our own breeding farm to cover insufficient supply. Then, we will have systemized the most consistent and integrative production chain ever.

We harvest high quality paddy straw in Ishinomaki, Miyagi prefecture.
Ishinomaki city, the leading rice field area in Miyagi, lies in the plains east of Sendai. These excellent fields produce a rich harvest of high quality paddy straw.
We feed our cattle rice straw only after thoroughly checking for possible contamination of our machines and collection packages.
